The do it, though, on "The Situation Room" if I recall correctly...
(those shows tend to run into one another)... they have a feature
where two young women go through a seemingly random collection of blog
postings, reporting on what some anonymous people of unknown
background or qualification say about some topic or other... these
frequently don't seem to be "established" blogs, but just one that
links to another that links to another, so there's even less clue than
usual what weight the opinion might be given. it's pretty much the
single most worthless 2 minutes on television.
