While I am still stuck for a issue to reference, sometime in the mid-80s
Blob's power was increased incrconsiderably. This includes the supertough
skin. I do believe the increase was artificial, which would explain why
they didn't go away.
This ONLY explains Blob, but I believe Claremont is consistent in this one
case.
