For Better or Worse?: Avi Arad Takes A Powder.

According to the AP Marvel CEO Avi Arad is leaving to form his own
production company. A move not doubt cemented by X-Men 3's opening

Now, this is a bad thing, because the production of Marvel movies
happened on his watch. He got them out of their horrific TV ghetto and
on to the big screen like no one before him. He can actually take
credit for this. On the other hand, he's going to be producing Marvel
movies himself and under his direct supervision came Ultimate Avengers,
which suggests the less direct input he has the better.
