There are levels of popularity. Very few stars can carry $100M films.
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman and George Clooney are all
A-list stars, but all have more failures than hits. Halle is just
another member of their group.

Note of trivia here:

I really wouldn't say George Clooney has more failures than hits.
*almost* all his films succeed on some level.

Oceans Twelve: Panned but made a lot of money.

Syriana: Made twice its budget and critically acclaimed

From Dusk til Dawn: made money and has a huge cult following

You really cant even call Intolerable Cruelty a failure cause it made
mega money overseas.

I think we can only call Solaris an utter failure and Welcome to
Collinswood (whatever that is, it only opened in 45 theatres)
