I'll be the first to say that Elektra (or ANY female) would be a terrible
idea, but I /do/ understand why so many people initially went for that
guess, and I do believe they were led to believe this by design.

I don't buy your theory that it was all 100% baseless on those people's
parts (which is what you imply when you disagree that Bendis planted those
seeds).
