You seem to have convenient memory lapses whenever you try to argue a
point. In Busiek's "Morgan Le Fay" AVENGERS story, MLF didn't make use
of Wanda alone; she was a power source in combination with the cosmic
Twilight Sword. The scope of the transformation wasn't defined, but
probably didn't extend past Earth. In the "Kulan Gath" story, Gath
relied on a power source, Silverclaw's mother, Peliali, a goddess. The
transformation covered a limited area, and could be prevented by the
use of magic.

Actually, a large number of people believe in the existence of
alternate timelines and alternate universes; their existence is part of
quantum physics theory (see, for example,
http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/encyclopedia/m/mu/multiverse.htm ).

You missed the central point of my argument, as usual: Can Wanda
believably create or recreatea world by herself? No, she can't. She
doesn't have the raw power needed to do that; she doesn't even have the
altered consciousness required to comprehend the task. Omniscence would
be a minimum requirement for creating a world from scratch, or making
detailed changes to a world. Cosmic tools, such as those in Busiek's
AVENGERS/JLA story (e.g., the Cosmic Cube), let the writer fudge a bit
with personal power levels.
Since the great mystery in HOM is whether the changes to the M.U. are
"real," Wanda can't be the sole power behind the changes. If she is,
the plot is a failure, a fiasco. It's a bit late to bring in a cosmic
tool; if Dormammu is manipulating her, he could be using her as a
conduit for his own power, which would be clumsy plotting, but
tolerable, at least. The post-HOM environment, as described in
PREVIEWS, seems to eliminate the possibility that the HOM world is just
a vivid illusion.
The notion that Wanda could just wave her hands about wildly and make a
really, really, big hex that would just change things by itself is
stupid, of course. As Dr. Strange once said, "Magick is nothing but
directed energy. . ."; undirected energy might destroy things, but
certainly can't create, which is why Busiek's definition of Wanda's
power worked so well.
