I was surprised to find out a few years ago that the Starbrand story
from New Universe was continued in Quasar. While I have not seen the
issues in question, I have read an online summary of what happened in
those issues. Not quite what I expected.

Unlimited Fantastic Four is just completing a crossover with the
regular Marvel Universe. So much for those series remaining isolated
so as not to be corrupted by 616 reboots/retcons.

If I read Previews correctly, the November issue of Exiles will visit
the New Universe world. And I suspect from the storyline title "World
Tour" that other worlds we don't normally see will also appear
(perhaps we will see the pre-JMS Squadron Supreme world and find out
what happened there after the 80's mega-series).
