*does* explain why he was getting so many cover gigs all of a sudden -
to help with the medical bills. I can damn well sympathize with him on
that aspect.

In case you hadn't heard, Gene Colan is also not well, his liver is
failing. Hopefully something can be done, but one never knows in this
situation. Fund raising events are going on also to help with his
treatment, but we will have to see what happens.
