Yeah, it's pretty cowardly to get rid of the kid. I really liked the
family dynamic depicted briefly with BC, GA, Sin and Speedy. Add in
Uncle Connor and they could have had a true superhero family with
modern issues: HIV-positive daughter, semi-estranged son, deadly
assassin tot - not to mention a commitment-phobe Dad with a wandering
eye and loose zipper. It could have been DC's answer to the
Incredibles or something. But, yeah, it would have required some
talent to pull it off.
