...because Granny Goodness saw that Amazons Attack was sucking, so she
said "Hey, let's just have it so that I'm actually behind it all or
something" and thus when everyone gets to the last page they'll say
"AHA! So a New God was behind it! That's why it sucked! I hope
somebody kills all of them or something for this! Now I feel better
about DC Comics as a whole! Yay DC!"

And Diana didn't know she wasn't talking to Athena? The same Diana whose
eyesight is BONDED TO THAT OF ATHENA's? The same Diana who can sense
falsehood from a mile away? Do these writers ever read what went on before
them? Or do their editors??
I had a random thought on that. If the New Gods are on a par with the
Greco/Roman dieties, would they not have the power to negate or bend
the rules with regards to Diana's powers? Obviously Granny Goodness
has the power to not only transport all the Amazons to random
locations around the globe, hopefully not in any deep water, but also
strip them of memories AND create lives for them (unless they're all
amnesiac in their new lives.)
Regardless, why in this week's WW was she unable to tell that Nemesis
was actually Everyman or, for that matter, that Sarge Steel wasn't who
he was supposed to be at the beginning of all this?
