What was the point of killing Bart? I wasn't a huge fan of Johns
"maturing" Bart, though giving him the Kid Flash costume was nice.

But why age him and then kill him in the space of a year or so? I
expect that this was an editorial decision after they started this
Flash run (though they made pointed reference that Bart knew Wally and
the kids were okay as early as IC).

Narratively, there was nothing gained here except to establish that
the Rogues are now out and out killers.

Between this, Wonder Woman, and Meltzer's JLA, it's like the DC train
is completely off the rails and out of control.

What's worse is that they're throwing away properties. Like Priest's
old adage: Don't kill them, just put them on a bus.
