Maybe not...but it sets a bad precedent...I don't want this to happen
all over the place...I also hate the delays...all would be well if
people would just DO THEIR DAMN JOBS! If you can't meet the
deadlines
then find a new occupation...any other solution basically condones
this crap.

OK, but what usually happens if people can't do a job? They're fired
and replaced.

Not in comics...it's almost become expected these days that the best
writers and artists can't keep a regular schedule...Jack Kirby must be
rolling in his grave.

To be fair, Jack cut corners all the time (and ridiculously simplified
his style by the late 1960s to the point where he was doing storyboards
full of only vaguely human anatomy more than actual pencils and expecting
his inkers at both Marvel and DC to finish all his work and fix all his
mistakes) to make deadlines.

Still... the wrap-up isn't coming now until frickin' September???
Seriously? Can't DC, I dunno, get Heinberg to just turn in whatewver
exists of a plot for the finale and let Hughes flex his writing muscles
on the actual script as a dry run for his ALL-STAR? Hell, let's hand it
off to the Dodsons themselves for dialoguing, or maybe to Palmiotti and
Gray or Simone or =someone= of a professional bent so we can get this
thing wrapped up before the Picoult arc wraps! Sheesh...
