is that all you can come up with? besides, if Diana isn't even WW
anymore and she's more "human", why not push the envelope & let her do
the things her culture did not teach her. and she doesn't need Steve
Trevor or any cat to try to open her up (pardon the pun) to these
things. she's liberated, forceful, aggressive, and since we've
established she has some functioning sexual organs, she probably has
the desire as well. think about it; she could get any man (or woman) in
the DCU, and she would make the choice. and that is sexually empowering
for women, since men called those shots for ages. and if she gets
pregnant in the carrying out of an affair or (more likely IMO serious
relationship), that doesn't plop her in the kitchen, barefoot and heavy
with child to mop the floor and do all the cooking.

It usually does in action stories. Does that skintight white suit
really say: "hey, I'm just looking for a baby daddy around here" to
you?

you mention Joan of Arc, but there are numerous woman who've worked in
dangerous, stressful, and laborious situations and managed to have at
least one child, i would wager usually because they wanted to. sure,
combating evil, working counterespionage, and being an ambassador of
peace are all pretty damned time & energy consuming. but, hey, she IS
Wonder Woman, right??

Are there many action heroines who do so? In good stories?

And again, I've said nothing about her not using her vagina if she
wants to. I'm sure she desires love like anyone else. I'd love for it
actually to work out for her actually; it hasn't in the past, because
what man can live up to her? Campion offered mind control and a rape
threat, Steve was either foolish or fatherly, Trevor's pride was
wounded, Superman has Lois ... I'm thinking a fling with Artemis might
have been a good idea.
