Yeah, I realized this right after I wrote it. But still, even taking an
exceptionally heavy step or foot plant or, say, throwing Conner at the
ground with all his might would have some massive effect for someone
who can push an entire planet.
Not necessarily. Pushing against the planet is one thing. In the case
of flight, though, the pre-COIE Super-Family didn't need to push against
anything to fly ... they just did it. In other words, the method of
propulsion was never fully explained. It was more than anti-gravity,
otherwise they'd all tie in a race with The Blimp.
Taking a heavy step or throwing someone at the ground would definitely
impact the planet, but both simply involve strength, not flight
propulsion. The equal & opposite reaction would occur in that medium;
thankfully, it's not generic matter, or else those moved planets
would've had their atmosphere ripped from them.
All that doesn't factor in the equal & opposite reaction of said
propulsion causing force on the planet itself. THAT should cause some
damage to the surface itself. Hey, maybe it's a modified application of
tactile telekinesis, only this time keeping the whole planet together?
:) :) :)
