the Janet Evanovitch books are fun....start with One for the Money.....
Nelson De Mille's the Gold Coast and Plum Island...some of his books are
better than others...
Most librarians at your public library will give you a xeroxed list of
good mysteries...
the PD James books are great..many out of print..but you can often find
cheap old copies on E-Bay...
