Note the email address identified in the "removal" message:

I suspect that's the email-to-news gateway between the IBC mailing list and
this newsgroup. A temporary(?) glitch caused the list server to
unsubscribe the gateway, so now it's no longer relaying messages from the
list to the newsgroup.

I took a look at the mailing list archives on the IBC web site. The list
is still active, and they're still receiving messages that are posted to
the newsgroup; their messages just aren't getting back to the newsgroup.
(Not on my news server, anyway.) It's been like that since October 30th,
when the removal notice was posted -- we're only seeing messages posted
directly to the newsgroup.

TO THE MAILING LIST ADMINISTRATOR: Could you please try resubscribing the
above gateway address? If it was a temporary glitch in the Newsguy mail
server, it may have been fixed by now.

If anyone knows how the the gateway got set up in the first place, or knows
who to talk to at Newsguy, could you please investigate? I checked the
Newsguy web site, but didn't see anything about email gateways.
