I can't motivate any one else. Hell, I spent two years or so
motivating myself. Or rather, being unmotivated. Then, one day I
caught my reflection in a store mirror while walking down the street
and freaked out.

I haven't used a trainer at all. I've done it all through my own
dietary research and experiments and using free weights. I've even
purchased equipment so I can work out at home. The only motivation I
have is not wanting to be or look fat. If you'd like to discuss it

discuss it with you.

Nope, I'm not going to AZ. That's not to say I won't take a trip to
your neck of the woods one day (or you'd end up in DC for some reason)
and we could meet up. But don't expect a hug.
