Saki Hiwatari in Macross.

I just noticed in the episode "Bye Bye Mars" of Macross that the name Saki
Hiwatari (in romanji) appears in the screen gibberish (5:27 on the AnimEigo
DVD, just below the famous "if mice could swim" poem).

Didn't Saki Hiwatari debut in 1982? At the time, wouldn't she have only had
one short manga story published at that point?
Maybe she had friends among the animators...
