Besides, if I don't like certain posters, I can simply see their name and
skip over it. The volume on this board is not as bad as, say, 24 Hour Tech

I just want to caution you. Giving up the group happens too often. I
wouldn't unless a lot of the other regulars give up on it. It's
disappointing to go to a Usenet group and finding it turned into Craig's
List Lite.

Yeah, I'll agree, basic Fred Flinstone "Hold it, HOOOOLD IT, hold it!" moment:
A goofy Unfrozen 90's-Caveman RSPW-barbarian troll dies overnight on this group, gets a couple sucker breaks on some other barbarian group that doesn't know how to clean their headers, keeps our group on the crosspost list just to nyah-nyah us "fagboy otakus" who smart-slapped him :-P , and then hit some dream "Wrestling/Obit Headline" temporary gold-vein by pure coincidence that ONLY a 90's Unfrozen Trollboy would still think was "shock" material in 2007...And somebody was actually talking about "giving up on the group"??

....That's rather a LOW threshhold, isn't it? 0_o??

His own "suckers" are starting to tire out of not seeing any return on their investments, he's now down to pumping only that *one* well dry, and he practically *started out* at that last-ditch skid-row of "Ah-ah!--You're not supposed to notice me!...Proves how naive you are, everybody else killfiles trolls!".
(Which strategy, unfortunately, often ends up succeeding beyond its wildest dreams--Trolls can only succeed on "camouflage", and there is nothing so predestined to self-doomed failure as a Gloating Troll.)
