I think I was the only one who bid on them. But I did enter a VERY large
bid for them, so I was glad to have little or no competition.

I don't know where it was done, and I've had reports of it being broadcast
in both Canada and France.
I'm of two minds on the Kimba theme music. Certainly the American theme
is a classic, but by not getting the original opening and closing themes
we missed the significance of a lot of music cues in the show. The
Japanese opening theme and title sequence animation was spectacular
(proven by the sincerest form of flattery 29 years after its creation) but
no American TV show ever had a 2-minute opening theme.

Well, the proof will be delivered to Australians by the end of the month,
and to us in the US in a little over 2 months.

Yeah, it may be bit pricey for one episode. But each disc is individually
tested and you get personal customer service if you need it. :)

The general public is often the best source of archival materials,
especially for older shows. The trouble is they're so disorganized. :)

Yes, it does. None of them are in my area, however.

That's what I mean about archival materials. Lots of people taped TV
shows, even when they could only make audio recordings. If we could only
get people to remember what they have and make it available, who knows
what treastures are out there.
