I'm sure that it does, but I was pointing out similarities reguardless
of the date the series came out. It's a method that I use to describe
something by referencing something else, whatever it may be. Sorry if I
wasn't clear about that.

A flashback? Never really considered it that way. Must have missed the
reference. I'll have to rewatch the first disk.

Thank you.

Looks like that I'm not the only one who is having trouble with names. :P

That's what his name was.

Which is probably why no one liked him at first. It seems that Griffith
saw something in Guts that he liked and forced him to join. I can see
how this would piss off the other members of the group who probably
joined voluntarily.

Which is why Griffith and Guts fought that last time before the next
incident.

It looked more forcefull to me. She wasn't much of a willing
participant at first.

No, it's not complicated, but my question was aimed more along the lines
of "What were the writers thinking?" And that only applies to the
ending. We don't know what eventually happens to Caska. We know what
happens in the ending, but does she live or die? That's never fully
explained. As you have read the manga, was that addressed there?

When I say magic, I'm refering to human based magic. Yes, there are
monsters and demons, plus that medicine made from fairy dust. But you
don't see people casting spells or such. I exclude the demons because
demons are inherently super-natural beings who possess great amounts of
power. Most of the monsters don't have much power at all save for a few
abilities.

No, it's not a funny show, but the outakes were pretty funny.
Especially the comment about a turkey later on in the show. Disk 5 I think.
