If you include CPM among the big boys, then you should probably
count Media Blasters among them too. They are releasing more
titles than CPM are.

>>> Animego
>>> Multimedia 2000

Were Multimedia 2000 the ones that released Bubblegum Crisis on
DVD back in 1998? That was on a sublicense from Animeigo, and as
far as I know that has been their only anime release.

I assume you mean "The Right Stuf International"?

Image Entertainment sublicensed a number of titles from CPM in
the early DVD days. CPM has re-released several of those titles
themselves after the sublicense expired. I believe Hyper Police
is Image's only "own" anime title. They have published lots of
other movies, though, both on laserdisc and on DVD.

Miramax is part of the Disney/Buena Vista conglomerat. It's
their "art film" branch. (They also own Touchstone Pictures.)

Correct. And Critical Mass is part of The Right Stuf.

Some other studios worth mentioning are Viz, Tokyopop, Manga
Entertainment (not to be confused with US Manga Corps, which
are part of CPM) and Synch-Point.
