I got stung by the rabbit fish just enough to feel a little venom.
I've never been stung by the lion fish.
Other store owners at the wholesalers would crack me up when I saw them trying to catch a leaf fish in a tiny divided section with a small net. I'd just tell them "reach in and catch them with your hand". They wouldn't do it. Too afraid of getting stung. I always used my hand with them, and never got stung by them.

Just be brave, and catch him with your hand, I've done it. :-)I hope you're joking. The rabbit fish has toxic dorsal fins.
I used to catch lion fish with my hands.
After a while they will get used to eating out of the net, and will be
easy to catch.

I did however catch one with my bare hands. And I
used to catch lionfish with my bare hands. But I
don't have the store with all those fish to play
with anymore. :-)
