Getting Rid of Ich

Hello all

Just wanted to share a way I have just got rid of Ich. It was really
effective, quick and didn't seem to have a single negative effect on
anything else. I dint have to catch any fish and do any stressful dips.

Firstly I lowered the SG to 1.023, then I re-plumbed on my 25 Watt UV
steriliser and finally dosed something called ectopur by sera. I didn't use
the dosage they suggested (which seems ridiculous) but put 3 teaspoons in my
tank twice a day. I have a 60x30x24 inch tank.

I just got a pint glass and took some water, dissolved the white powder and
pored in the pump stream.

Over the next month or so ill raise the SG back to 1.026 and take back off
the UV. Not sure how long ich lives but I want to make sure I get rid of it.
