You are absolutely correct (and thanks for the timely nym shift, so I
could read this). In fact, I even go so far as to say if you or your
"friend" settled on a particular nym for on-topic posts (this one, for
example), and stuck with it, you'd bypass the methods I described up
stream. Not that I'd care at that point, I could get your on-topic
content and still screen out the chaff... Win-win, IMO.

You and a few others seem to like to create a mountian
out of a mole hill like the rec.ponders iun pretense of getting a
moderated forum perhaps.....

Mountain, or mole hill? Depends upon how much value a particular body
places on respecting the charter of a newsgroup, and how much regard they
hold for those who exhibit self control. *shrug* We all have different
responses to that value judgement, it seems.

things here are not bad and you know it,
so get over it......as any intrusion you feel is harming your group is
easy to kill filter.


Also true, for anyone with a newsreader that is. I wonder when some
bright bulb of a programmer will develop filtration software capabilities
for Google Groups?
