Hey good group,
Thanks again for the advice.
I put driftwood in my tank, which he has clearly been mauling. I've also been feeding him a algae tablet ever second day (I drop it right in front of his cave). If I don't get an algae bloom I may increase it to once a day if necessary. I've also given him some cucumber on occasion.
He is more active and less nocturnal and I have the pleasure of watching him a lot more. Although it is better if just the tank light is on and I try not to get too close to the tank - he is shy.
Anyway, I believe he is much healthier now and quite a beauty- but It also probably means he'll outgrow the tank by the end of the year.
But I'm glad he is a happy camper. Name: "Little Godzilla".
Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear he's doing well and the name sure fits a Gibbie. When he's grown are you going to shorten it to "Godzilla"? ;-)
