I read on the web, the following medications were suggested: QuickCure,
CopperSafe, Maracide. I am going to LFS today, I'll see what I can find
there. As for the dosage, each web site recommends something different.

I have lost two of the above fish (one of each species) soon after I
purchased them. Other fish in the tank (20 gallon) are:
5 harlequin rasboras
5 rummy nose tetras
3 ottos
1 african dwarf frog
One rasbora and one rummy nose tetra are the most heavily hit, the
ottos are still clear of ich. Hopefully I can still treat them in time.
The tank is heavily planted, and has malaysian trumpet snails. Would
the ich medication hurt the frog or the snails? Should I remove them
for the course of treatment?
Thanks. I've never had ich in my tank before, so any advise would be
appreciated.
My newsreader shows no one replied to you. I use Quick-Cure, ICK-Guard and Aquari-Sol to get rid of ICK. I always keep at least one of these products on hand. None kill off snails to my knowledge. I don't know about the frog.
