I've finally upgraded from a 10 to a 55 gallon freshwater planted
tank. 80 watts of flourescent lighting (pair of 4' GE Chroma 50's). Filtration courtesy of an AquaClear 300. Plants and fish seem to be
doing fine.
Present occupants:
6 Neon Tetras 5 Black Neons 6 Zebra Danios 1 pair Dwarf Gouramis 3 Corys 4 Otos
I like to add about a dozen more Neon Tetras to get a real 'shoal' of them going in the bigger tank. Will a bunch of new Neons fit in with the existing 6 bigger (2 year old) ones? Any comments welcome.

A school of Neons looks really cool. I sometimes find that it is possible to buy larger ones in my local LFS as well as the smaller ones.
On the other hand I recently added some smaller ones as my previous school was down to just one larger one with no problems. JME
