Powder Flask

I have a James Dixon and Sons powder flask dating 1889 that was made
in Scheffield. I did quite a bit of Googling and really didn't find
much information.
Does anyone know the history of this company and is the flask worth
anything. I believe it carried gun powder.
Thanks,
Diana
