Re: Wild animals MUST be even more intelligent than humans

WILD ANIMALS: If we could show that animals can learn human like
tasks, maybe then the overly big emphazis on schooling in our present
day societies could give room for learning all kinds of wise natural
things from the wild animals and even from pets.

Interesting point. I agree that most schooling is currently about out-
of-date accademic things which are mostly irrelevant to actual life.
Just one example . . . the "rich dad poor dad" books illuminate how
current education is completely out of date with what actually works
in the current world, and instead installs incorrect programming which
stopped working many decades ago. And this problem can persist,
because education is not tested in practice . . . ie. is not linked
with reality at all, which is a huge mistake.

For example the use
of the senses supports making objective observations in thinking -
observations about the environment, our own state and about our own
ways of functioning and about the functioning of the social group! The
natural selection quarantees that we naturally make the kind of
observations which guide us most right. Of course one must not give up
the wisdom of humans either but find a higher level of wisdom
consisting of both the human part (science, knowledge about the
environment suitable for building tools) and of the wild animals'
understanding (how we ourselves function best, also most objectively).

Indeed. One major problem is that humans use thinking instead of
actually observing realty. The models used in thinking are often
false . . . most adults have not updated their thinking models to
include Newton's theories, but people continue thinking instead of
working with reality itself, which leads to all kinds of problems
including body-problems (because people ignore important
communications from their bodies) as well as inappropriate behaviours
in life.

People make the mistake of assuming that areas such as medicine and
psychology are "sciences" which match reality, when in fact these
things are technically pseudo-sciences whose theories do not match
reality.

People believe other people (who usually have a vested interest in
making people believe them) rather than looking for themselves.

As you say, animals can't make these mistakes and survive. Survival
training itself can be of vital use in developing self-esteem
particularly around the teen years . . . a human who can survive in
the natural world feels differently about itself than one who can only
survive with artificial help.
