New social networking website for ecologists and environmental scientists

I have launched a social networking website, Earth Newswire, that is a
bit
like Facebook or Myspace, but is just for people interested in
environmental science, ecology and conservation. It's located at
http://www.earthnewswire.com

The purpose of the site is to allow people around the world who are
working in these fields - or just interested amateurs - to connect
with
one another and share news and information.

Membership is free and those who join get their own profile, ability
to
"friend" other members, a personal blog, and photo and video
galleries,
among other things. The site features generalized forums but also
allows
members to create specialized discussion groups.

It's just getting started, but please have a look.

To join use the "Sign Up" link on the home page, or go directly to
this
link: http://www.earthnewswire.com/main/authorization/signUp

Sincerely,

Chris Emery
