Thanks for replying. I did all of that (all but the first was done),
closed the program, reopened, still no headers. The bottom left of the
activity bar says 0/0 and is flickering. If I right click the
newsgroup and select Retrieve Headers, something momentarily appears
in the section of the bar to the right of the 0/0, then disappears,
and 0/0 keeps flickering.

It shouldn't be that hard. Just a guess, but you could be having
problems with write permision or Vista UAC if you installed in Program
Files. You could try installing in another directory like C:\programs
and keep it out of Program Files. Are you installing with an admin
account?

I agree it shouldn't be that hard - Gravity is obviously not ready for
prime time, at least running on Vista. I tried this morning to
download headers - did not work. I uninstalled the program and
reinstalled as administrator to C:\gravity. Same thing - seems to
download, but shows 0/0 in the info bar, and the 0/0 flickers. What is
interesting is that in the Newsgroups pane, in the local column, the
number of headers does show. Again, uninstalling and reinstalling
reveals the headers in the middle pane. I think Gravity looks like a
great program, but unfortunately I have to find another solution. I
searched for a program because Agent has a bug whereby message indent
doesn't work in large threads - for Gravity this is a non-issue. But
until they fix it for Vista, I can't use it. Is there a place I can
contact the developers to report this?
