Bada bing Chris P. Bacon <cpb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> bada bang:
Regarding Message-ID: <49F308DF.DE520EB3@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> (as an
example)
I have slrn set to not show signatures, but I noticed that in
the messages from this one particular poster, his signature
shows up in slrn.
I would rather not plonk him as he does make sense on occasion,
but I don't need to see his monologous signature:
The Grandmaster of the CyberFROG
<snip shilled self-aggrandizement>
--------------------------------------
I am wondering if it has to do with the fact there is no spacer after
the signature delimiter line.
If it was not a properly delimited signature no newsreader
would treat it as such.
If you are not trying to spread the message in the signature
(such as it is) why did you quote it in full. Had you supplied a
Message-ID only it would have been possible to see what the real
reason was.
