Maybe you can turn off the internal speaker in the BIOS or in Windows
somewhere until someone who knows Gravity tells you the right way :-)

The internal speaker isn't used for much, AFAIK.

It isn't a problem with Gravity per-se, its a problem with *all*
software thats written in older versions of Microsofts compilers.

Well, its a bug in MS Vista, but it only beeps with older software.

Another kind person has posted a link to how to fix it, requires a
little bit of editing in the Windows Registry (not as scary as it
sounds!)

Gravity would need a large re-write of its GUI section to get around
this bug, and whilst that is in the pipeline, it isn't going to happen
for *ages* yet.
