How am I doing, do the entries look okay to you?

As far as examples go they looked okay, but example entries and what's
actually used may be different, and what's actually used/sent matters
to the news server in this case.

Right. If you don't want to disclose your entries there (only Your Name
and E-Mail for Posting would suffice), how about you create another
identity with exactly the data you are using right now:

Your Name: Jean
Email address used for postings: jean@xxxxxxxxxxx

and try posting to a test group using that identity?

Select the test group and set the new Identity in "Options for selected
group", then post something.

If it still fails, I don't know what's happening, if that one works,
look at how the name and e-mail are different from the ones you want to
use.
