I very much like that Xnews feature :-)

I have a similar rule in my Score file, but it didn't work. I've
been having to sort through this stuff manually. Apparently, Telus'
news servers don't allow me to filter on that header at the
newsreader level.

I can't score on that header either with my news service.
The following filter should work for this guy:

[news\.software\.readers]
Score: -9999
Message-ID:[a-f0-9]{8}\.[a-f0-9]{8}@news

That entry didn't work for me at all. Tweaking it a bit got me me
the following:

Score: -6666
Message-ID: .*\..*@news\..*

It seems to work for a whole lot of those messages, but not all of
them. I'm also leery of false positives so I haven't set it to
automatically kill on finding a match.

I haven't seen any new messages from that nutjob in the past few
days. At least this should get some of the old sh*t without me
having to do it manually. :-)
