Are you referring to what your server sends in the HELO/EHLO? That, of
course, should be the same as what the reverse lookup of the IP-number
of pjr.gotdns.org returns.

If it was server.pjr.gotdns.org, postmaster and abuse @ that host
must receive mail - and read it, too!

It certainly must, if I ever use the machine to send mail to anybody
other than a handful of friends.

Anyway: If you're looking for a mail guru, you should turn to
comp.mail.sendmail or news.admin.net-abuse.email. In the first
you'll find Ohmster, too. In the second, you'll find kooks, spammers,
poseurs ("Just block 200/5!"), and somebody who appears to be
permanently in curmudgeon mode. You'll usually get good technical
advice from the latter, but he has problems with the concept that
foreign countries *are* different from the USA.
