If your editor command in .slrnrc includes the tw setting, as does
mine and as would have the command I gave you for that, the line
length setting for slrn composition would be passed to gvim when
slrn called it. That way *all* of your use of gvim (it's not just
limited to slrn posts <g>) don't require that setting. My primary
system is not within reach right now, but I believe my command looks
like:
set editor_command "gvim -f '+set tw=72' '%s'"
That is what I set my editor_command options to, then went back in and
changed the tw=72 to tw=70. This is in addition to editing the gvimrc file.
