Correct, I had a friend that ran TBBS and he paid handsomly for it. I ran
RBBS for a brief period then QBBS. I think I still have the registration
for that tucked away somewhere. PCBoard is what I was trying to come up
with as I still have the manual for it. The last I heard the company went
out of business.
Yes, the makers of PCBoard were "Clark Development Company", and they did
indeed go out of business, somewhere around 1996-97. The newfangled
Internet did 'em in, I guess. I still have several versions worth of
original (floppy) disks and manuals for PCB. Someday I'm gonna fire it up
again just for grins.
