Reality folded in on itself, and somewhere the following words from
"Ted S." appeared in history:
I get a lot of spam that's addressed to random addresses at my
ISP, so I'd like to kill them using a negative lookback assertion.
The problem is, my parents and I use the same ISP, and I get
emails from, say, Mom, that are addressed to both Dad and me.
That's always the problem when tring use one account for multiple
people. Check with your ISP/Host to see if they offer multiple accounts
(not alaises) under your current plan and get your own address.
No; we have separate addresses. It would be just like two complete
strangers having accounts at aol.com or earthlink.com or somesuch.
Suppose I were fedya@xxxxxxxxxx, and had a friend who was at
johnsmith@xxxxxxxxxx, and wanted to be able to receieve emails with both
emails in the To: header. (Which is usually what it is: my mom sends
crummy jokes to me, dad, my brothers and sisters and her 97 friends, that
I've already received from her half a dozen times, but if I send them
straight to the bitbucket and she knew I were doing that, she'd be rather
peeved.) I need to be able to receive such emails, but not those sent to
jimjones@xxxxxxxxxx or billbrown@xxxxxxxxxxx
Have I made myself clearer?
