Which editors are people using?

Vim, of course.

Thanks for that! I am using vim to post this message, although I can
see I have some work ahead of me :-)

Now as regards slrn, the default colours are very difficult for me to
read. I can see the section in the slrn.rc file to alter all this one
by one but is it possible to find 'high contrast' sets of colours, or
'black on white' sets? Had a look on google but could find little of
use.

Andrew

Use the colors.sl macro (should be included with the distribution)

you can change colors on the fly and see how they look and choose not to
save if you arent happy.

Interpret the macrro in your slrnrc file

add:

interpret /path/to/colors.sl

to the end of the file and restart slrn. I dont recall the default key
binding but if you open the macro in a text editor is should be in there.
