The first error message you mention I've experienced a few times myself and
happened when I hadn't downloaded the other server's groups list, though I
knew that the server carried the group, so Dialog said the server didn't
carry the group, but sent the message away successfully, anyway.
That makes sense. I hadn't downloaded motzarella's group list.
The second error message does sound like a server related issue. They seem
to be a bit strict with the From and Reply adress. Maybe this explains
something: http://motzarella.org/en/terms.php Perhaps you HAVE to use
"invalid" for an invalid address with that server? I once had a similar
issue (though not your error message) when I posted with a fancy top level
domain in my From address. Issue got solved after using one of the accepted
TLDs, like .net,.org, etc.
It isn't that. I got that message using a valid address - a gmail account.
I was thinking of writing to motzarella about this, but I am uncomfortable
bothering them since it's a free acount.
Anyhow, thanks for solving one of my mysteries.
