The 100 or so with only one or two posts for the week, are probably mostly
not 'genuine' user-agent headers, or represent posts finding their way
into usenet from web-forums using the real newsgroups to steal undeserved
luster. Anything not in the top 100 is probably a 'minority interest'.
(The 'all time' list runs to 4017!).
My favourite header belonged to The 2-Belo, c. 1999-2003:
"X-Newsreader: a 20-year-old fax machine connected to an acoustic coupler"
It makes my efforts to post with Lynx when nothing else was available
seem lazy. :-)
PJR :-)
Lynx is not the most intuitive method I've tried. But a fax machine would
be challenging.
