Yes. That's why there is a larger variety of tools than just
"hammer", or in context that's why there are email clients *and*
news clients.

Do I see another "Outlook is a newsreader" 'discussion' in the
distance?

The definition of hammer [noun] precludes a circular saw being a
hammer. A circular saw however can be be used to hammer [transitive
verb].

Of course. Blinky never said otherwise. Not having problems with
snipped context, are we?

Do you see how I'm replying to you Frank and not Blinky. You [now]
appear to be having the contextual problem.

While Outlook conformed to all definitions of a news reader and
indeed you can read news with it. Your arguments otherwise were just
wishful thinking,

Sure, you were/are right and everybody else was/is wrong! Sorry
about
that. We (YTIW) keep forgetting that.

<sigh> I'm quite sure how to handle you Frank. You claim your English
comphrehension is excellent, so we're stuck with either you having a
case of the dumbs or just you being obnoxious.

In this case Blinky is the one that is right because it's easy to prove
that the definition of hammer precludes a circular saw being a hammer and
THEREFORE the type of argument you were refering to is not likely to
happen.

or perhaps just a red herring :-)

Well, we try to keep Blinky happy, don't we?

No I don't think you do.
