Second Reply: I forgot to answer this question first time around.
It looks the same in a real console as it does in rxvt: tree symbols
broken the same way.
It looks to me like a couple of line symbols are just plain wrong there.
I would think that the tree segment symbols to the left of the first
listed article when it's not the OP would be *different* than if it was an
OP; I just don't remember them looking so "broken", i.e., the resultant
lines being *discontinuous*.
