The above rule *SHOULD* read:

!markread Message-ID googlegroups

Any MID containing "googlegroups" in it, would therefore be marked read,
and I never see them. Of course, change "googlegroups" to match what string
you choose, and do NOT include quote marks in the rule.

Again, my apologies for the previous, erroneous info. I've since cancelled
the post, and if your news server supports cancels, then disregard this
babble. =)
