GFY, you are a rarity, a smart consumer. I bought my b&w laser
because I knew I wasn't very interested in printing graphics.
When I do need something special printed, I go to a service
bureau. Like once every 6 years.

Although it DOES seem that the gap between the hardware AND
running costs of color lasers and inkjets is narrowing
considerably. I do not have the stats. Still, so far neither
will produce the output quality a service bureau will, so if you
only need *occasional* jobs I still think it's the best option
(assuming you can find a place where the staff does not drive
you crazy... "Well, we REALLY prefer working with Mac files...
How about we convert it to Mac..." and a week later "Yes,
converting it to Mac WAS a mistake..." Sigh...)
