Irony meter. It probably would do if what you have just written
were true. If you can sense irony so easily then it almost proves
you're not an American! :-)
But how can a polite suggestion to use your killfile on me be for
the good of all? :-) It's for the good of you because no one
else seems troubled by my altered headers. Oh well. This
exchange could almost go on for ever.

I am generally happy with things. I tried to re-tweak the Xnews
executable to get what you suggested but it made headers run into
one another. So it's undiluted 2005.10.18 for the time being.
Now I can almost see the smile on your face! :-)
Just give me some time until I get a moment to improve it .....
