Absolutley not. Why pay for something you can have fee. A file joiner doesnt need a massive feature set, it needs to join files.

No utilities are needed at all. Just go to a command prompt and join them there:
copy /b movie.mpg.001 + movie.mpg.002 + movie.mpg.003 movie.mpg .
