Too early to say.
I hate the separate windows (groups, headers, messages), but saw here http://dcicons.fateback.com/index.html an example of the three-pane view I prefer, so it is possible.

(I am really an old and dedicated fan of Dialog who would immediately turn back to Dialog if a socket error was solved.)
